The 14th World’s Original Marmalade Awards are officially OPEN! Entries are now being received for the 2021 Marmalade Awards, so whether you’re a seasoned Artisan producer or a first timer, get your pans out and your jars filled to be in with a chance of winning that most esteemed of prizes – the Double Gold Award. The Deadline for entries is 10 February 2021 and all entries must be delivered to Dalemain Mansion on or before this date.

The Marmalade Awards are internationally renowned as THE competition for quality homemade marmalade, and Dalemain are proud to champion artisan producers, citrus production and the heritage of marmalade making both in the UK and abroad.


The Homemade Marmalade Awards are open to all amateur marmalade makers, whether you have a favourite family recipe, or have never made marmalade before. There are 14 categories to choose from, from Classic Seville to Marmalade ‘Macnab’ with Interesting Additions, and new categories like ‘Marmalade on the Move’.

The full entry fee goes to charity and so far over £220,000 has been raised for palliative care around the world.
You can nominate FSH and your fee will go to support the charity.

Get your pans out and help us to raise even more in 2021! The winner will be offered the opportunity to see their winning marmalade recipe produced commercially by renowned marmalade makers Thursday Cottage and sold in Fortnum & Mason, with a portion of proceeds going to the winner’s chosen charity!
