My personal thanks

I’d like to express my sincere thanks to those who have supported me through my journey this past month, not least the three hundred and ten (at the time of writing) generous individuals who have helped me raise £34,676 for Sussex hospices. For making this project a reality I’d like to thank: Sue Korman who created the Sussex Hospices Trail for FSH and who kept up an online update of my walks from my photos, my comments and my diary notes. Di Steele who kept the website up to date and archived the photos. Ryan West, Di and Sue knew my whereabouts (even when I didn’t!) via my Strava beacon and Ryan and Di along with Margaret Bamford, Janie Childs, Katharine Minchin, Caroline Nicholls and Juliet Smith chauffeured me to the start of various walks. Juliet Smith my walking coach who in May and June walked several sections with me and also to Julia Chi Taylor, my spiritual coach, for helping me get the most from the spiritual aspect of this journey. Sarah Gorrell, Emily Jeffery and Bibi Lynch at BBC Sussex and Mike Skinner and Tony Williams at Uckfield FM for giving me air time and helping to spread the word as well as Gary Shipton and JPIMedia for doing the same across the print and digital media. My mum and brother Tom for helping me post out the many thank you cards I wrote, for being here to welcome me home at the end of each walk and for being so supportive and encouraging all the way through.
